Under The Trees (UTT) offers a variety of outdoor learning opportunities for children in central Scotland.
The charity runs a range of sessions, including forest and family adventure activities, and works with schools that do not have access to wooded areas.
UTT, which was launched over a decade ago, has received £ 500 as part of CALA Homes’ annual community scholarship program, which has helped the group buy new play equipment.

Steven Gregory De La Rosa, Head of Outdoor Activities at UTT, said: âWe cannot thank CALA Homes (West) enough for their generosity.
âMoney has already made a big difference in getting the equipment we wanted to provide for the kids.
âWe have offered free sessions throughout the pandemic and throughout the summer to help children get out of the house and into nature, as well as to give their parents and guardians a break for a few hours. It’s a real lifeline for everyone involved.
