Origin Bank has made the largest donation towards the creation of a new outdoor learning space at Louisiana Tech University’s AE Phillips Laboratory School.
The outdoor learning center will provide spaces for students to play and participate in activities designed to enhance their experiences at school. Once completed, the space will symbolize the school’s commitment to all aspects of health and learning for its students.
“At AEP, we provide our Bullpups with a great learning experience and a great time at school,” said school principal Jenny Blalock. “This outdoor learning space will provide our students with the opportunity to learn outdoors as well as a space to play and just be kids.”
The project includes new playground equipment, new fencing, and updated drainage and irrigation systems.
Origin Bank continues to be a strong supporter of Louisiana Tech University, providing support for projects ranging from new athletic facilities to the Office of Student Success and Inclusion Initiatives to the updated outdoor space designed for improve the experience of students, faculty, AE Phillips staff, and parents promote.

Preparation work for the site of the Center has already begun and students will be able to follow the progress of the project.

We are all thrilled to see this project begin with such support and commitment from Origin Bank, and our students can’t wait to see it complete.
